Marvin Joe Brooks
Marvin Joe Brooks, 70, of Kingsport, went to his heavenly father on Thursday March 31, 2011 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
He was the owner of Brooks Plumbing and Heating until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing and building and racing late-model NASCAR cars. Joe loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents, J.E. and Henrietta Brooks; granddaughter, Jessica Dawn Brooks; and daughter-in-law, Terri Dawn Brooks.
Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Wilma Carroll Brooks; son, Michael Joe Brooks; daughters, Michelle Hyams and Melinda Love; brother, Bud Brooks; sisters, Wynona Francisco, Rosemary Mutter; 12 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
