Mary Louise Bishop, 81 of Weber City, VA passed away June 23, 2012 after a lengthy illness. She was born on May 29, 1931 in Sullivan County to Nannie Templeton. Mary had lived in the Kingsport area most of her life. She was employed for 27 years in the bookkeeping department at Mason Dixon, was the office manager for Anderson Ford and worked with Dent K. Burke accounting firm. Mary was a Jehovah's Witness.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Nannie Templeton, and brother-in-law, Parker Johnson.
Mary is survived by her sister, Vanice Bishop Johnson of Bolivar, TN; niece, Tammy Johnson Gammel and children, Emily and Matthew Gammel of Bolivar, TN; nephew, James Johnson and wife, Keri, and children, Harlie and Jameson Johnson of Martin, TN.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 26th from 6-9:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport.
Funeral services will be held 2 pm Wednesday June 27, 2012 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2049 Stonebrook Place, Kingsport, TN 37660 with Gerald Yelle, Jake Pyle and Raymond Fig officiating.
Interment will follow at Holston View Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Johnson, Jameson Johnson, Matthew Gammel, Andrew Cagle, Jeremy Sykes, Trevor Sykes and Elmer "Doc" Jones.
