Mary Lou Winn Cason

Mary Lou Winn Cason, 88, of Kingsport, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, October 5, 2015. Born in Muskogee, OK, she was the daughter of the late John Thomas and Uda Louise Winn. Mary Lou was a homemaker and an excellent southern cook. She loved dogs and had been an avid bridge player for many years. Mary Lou enjoyed spending time with her family and close friends.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred L. Cason; son, Fred L. Cason, Jr.; and 8 siblings.

Mary Lou is survived by her daughter, Pamela I. Cason of Wichita, Kansas; 4 grandchildren, Eric Winn Cason and wife, Dana, Erin Marceau and husband, Tony, Heather Merck and husband, Ethan, and Kelly Connelly; great-grandson, Liam Marceau; and many loving nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 from 5-7:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.

A graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at 11:00 am at Oak Hill Memorial Park with Rev. Joe Green officiating.

Pallbearers will be Eric Cason, Tony Marceau and Ethan Merck. Ron Holt will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
