Mary Ann Coleman Chambers

And this is life eternal, for Mary Ann knows her heavenly Father, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, her Savior sure whom God has sent. Welcome Home, Mary Ann.

Mary Ann Coleman Chambers of Kingsport, Tennessee, beloved wife and mother, went home to be with her Lord Jesus on Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.

Mary Ann was born in Doerun, Georgia. She graduated from Doerun High School, Georgia Southwestern College and completed her education at the University of Georgia with a degree in elementary education. Mary Ann was known for her love of her family, big smile and love for the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jonathan and Rena Coleman; and three brothers, Jon, Price, and James Coleman.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Gene Chambers; three children, Jeanne Chambers Smith and husband, Hunt, Barbara Chambers Bregard and husband, Jim, and Charles Edward Chambers and wife, Lisa; six grandchildren, Catherine Smith, Lyle Smith, Grace Bregard, Mark Bregard, Laura Chambers, and Clark Chambers; and sister, Margie Frosteg.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm on Monday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The service will follow at 7 pm with Pastor Richard Dice officiating.

Graveside services will be held at 10:45 am on Tuesday at Mountain Home National Cemetery in Johnson City. The procession will leave from Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home at 10:00 am.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Clark Chambers, Mark Bregard and Lyle Smith; son, Charles Chambers, and son-in-laws Hunt Smith, and Jim Bregard.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be sent to the Salvation Army in Mary Ann's name. 505 Dale Street, Kingsport, TN 37760.
