Mary Dunn

Mary (Dickie) Dunn of Fall Branch, TN passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Holston Manor Nursing Home, Kingsport, TN after a lingering illness.

Mary was born October 19, 1931 to the late Charlie and Artie Ward. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Fall Branch. Mary retired from Piccadilly Cafeteria in Kingsport.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Roy Ward and wife, Barbara, Ray Ward and Robert (Pup) Ward; 2 sisters, Patsy Gray and husband, Gene, Helen Eastep and husband, Ralph; a brother-in-law, Jr. (Ott) Drain and 1 infant granddaughter.

Survivors include 2 sons: Ricky Robinette and wife, Cheryl of High Springs, FL, Randy Robinette and wife, Robin of Kingsport, TN; sister: Georgia Drain; brother: Don Ward and wife, Clara; sisters-in-law: Bobbie Ward and Linda Ward; 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 from 5-7 p.m. with services immediately following at 7:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch with Rev. Victor Wallace officiating. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at First Baptist Church Cemetery of Fall Branch.

Pallbearers will be Steve Moffitt, Jeff Drain, Tony Ward, Charles Eastep, Kenny Ward, Les Ward, Jack Moffitt and Gayle English. Honorary pallbearers will be David Maltsburger, Jimmy Ward, Sammy Eastep, Howard Eastep and David Eastep.

The family would like to thank the staff at Crown Cypress Assisted Living for all the kindness they showed to Mary and also the staff at Holston Manor Nursing Home for taking such good care of her during her stay.
