Mary Lee Fritschle

Marylee Fritschle, 90, formerly of Kingsport and lately of Mesa, AZ, and Leadville, CO, went to be with the Lord and her husband, Cliff, on Sunday November 4, 2007.

Born in Hays, Kansas, she grew up in Boulder, CO. Marylee was a graduate of the University of Colorado with a Bachelor?s degree in Music. She taught elementary school in Littleton, CO.

Marylee married Clifton Edward Fritschle in 1941 and they raised their four children in Kingsport. A mother and wife above all, she gave back to her community in several ways. She sang in the choir at First Broad Street United Methodist Church and was an active volunteer throughout her life. She was most recently a member of the Church of the Master in Mesa, AZ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Edward Fritschle.

Surviving are her daughters, Jan Fritschle Stubbs and son-in-law, Shelton Stubbs, Kingsport, and Beth Fritschle Walsh and son-in-law, Neil Walsh, Clarkesville, GA; sons, Steve Fritschle and daughter-in-law, Melinda Edwards Fritschle, Austin, TX, Mark Fritschle and Lora Stewart, Ocean City, MD; Diane Fritschle, Sarasota, FL; twelve grandchildren, Clifton Fritschle, Teresa Fritschle, James Knight, Grant Fritschle, Mark Stubbs, Tiffany Knight, Matthew Stubbs, Drew Fritschle, Chase Fritschle, Sarah Fritschle-DeStackelburg, Tyler Knight, and Suzanne Walsh; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was greatly loved and admired and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport.
