Mary S. Little, Kingsport, passed away Monday, March 21, 2011 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
She was born in Wise County, VA, and lived most of her life in Kingsport. She was the daughter of the late C. Fred Snodgrass and Pearl Frazer Snodgrass.
She was a member of State Line Baptist Church. She retired from Arcadia Graphics after 43 years of service as a secretary. She was a dear sister and was loved by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stewart R. Little; an infant sister, Velma Snodgrass; a brother, C. Sidney Snodgrass; and two sisters, Eula M. Conklin and Laura E. Grasham.
Survivors include two brothers, W. Albert Snodgrass and his wife, Betty, of Marion IL, and Carl R. Snodgrass and his wife Louise of Wise, VA; sisters, Mavis S. Light and Doris Snodgrassa€"of Kingsport; sister-in-law, Wanda Snodgrass of Mt. Carmel; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday March 24, 2011 at the funeral home with Pastor J.W. Depew officiating. Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park. Nephews and great-nephews will serve as pallbearers.
