Mary N. McGaha

Mary Nell "Granny" McGaha, 88, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord after an extended illness on August 26, 2009. She enjoyed fishing but loved flowers and shopping.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee McGaha; parents, Loudena and George W. Wright; brothers, Johnny, Walter, Dee and Ralph Wright; grandson, Darrell Fugate; and son-in-law, William Bill Fugate.

Mrs. McGaha is survived by daughters, Mary Lou Fugate of Kingsport and Ann Burleson and husband Bobby of Kingsport; grandchildren, Timothy Gilliam, Priscilla Flynn, Melissa Brickey, and Jonathan Hobbs; great-grandchildren, Summer Brickey, Sierra Brickey, Dekota Brickey, Tiffany Lee Fugate, and several others; sister, Ella Fields; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Robert Cole officiating.

Burial will be on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Morning Star Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Shane Brickey, Darrell Hopkins, Charles Lindholm, Jr., Charles Lindholm, III, Sam Brickey, and Robert Cradic. Bob Cradic will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
