Mary Delores McNellis

Mary Delores McNellis, 89, Kingsport, formerly of Independence, MO, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2014 at Asbury Place, Kingsport. She moved from Clarence, MO to Kansas City, MO as a teenager. She worked for Ford Motor Company for many years. Mary was married to Joseph A McNellis and has now joined him 31 years after his death. She moved to Kingsport 1 ½ years ago.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. McNellis, and parents, Mary and Clarence Rose.

Mary is survived by her son, Dennis J. McNellis; daughter, Peggy McClain husband, Tim; grandchildren, Emily Sowash and husband, Seth of Charlotte, NC, Erika McClain of Johnson City, and Lisa McClain of Charlotte, NC; great-grandson, Freddie Sowash; one brother; one sister; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mass and visitation will be held at Nativity of Mary Catholic Church in Independence, MO.
