Mary Alice Kilgore Mead
Mary Alice Kilgore Mead, 83, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 26, 2010, after an extended illness. She was a wonderful and loving mother.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, J. L. Donihue, in 1966, and Warren Roads in 1972; her parents, Stella and Kelly Kilgore; three sisters, and two brothers.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, James O. Mead; her daughters, Marcia Ketron and husband, Larry, Charlotte Johnson and husband, Gary, Teresia Hammonds and husband, Wayne, and Karen Arnold and husband, Fred; a son, Steve Donihue and wife, Betty; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Oak Hill Memorial Park, with Chaplin Mike Pelham officiating.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Amedisys Hospice and Holston Manor.
