Mary Morrison Godsey Repass

Mary Morrison Godsey Repass, 90, formerly of Kingsport, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2016 at Brookdale Galleria in Houston, Texas. Born in Rogersville, TN on September 27, 1925, she was the daughter of the late William Trigg and Pearl Mae Klepper Godsey. Mary was a longtime member of Lynn Garden Presbyterian Church (now New Hope Evangelical Presbyterian Church). Mary will be remembered as a woman of great strength, courage and faith, a longtime caregiver to her mother and aunt, and especially as a loving wife, mother, aunt and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Repass, and sister, Nannie Kyle "Nancy" Godsey Burke.

Surviving is her only son, James Willard Repass and wife, Robyn, of Bellaire, Texas and her only granddaughter, Carling Nicole Repass, also of Bellaire.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 27 at 11:00 a.m. at Holston View Cemetery in Weber City, Virginia, with the Pastor Richard Willis officiating.

Those attending the graveside service are asked to assemble at the graveside by 10:45 a.m. Saturday.

In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial donations to New Hope Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 1116 Nelms Lane, Kingsport, TN 37665 in her honor.
