Mary Frances Patterson

Mary Frances Patterson, 86, of Fall Branch, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at Church Hill Healthcare.

Born in Fall Branch, she had lived in various areas of the United States while her husband was serving in the United States Navy. Mary Frances was of the Baptist faith and attended Oak Glen Union Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Patterson, Sr.; one son, Michael Patterson; and parents, Orlan and Alice Smith.

Surviving are two sons, Harry Patterson, Jr. and wife Carolyn and Allen Patterson, all of Fall Branch; one grandson, Jeremy Patterson, her pride and joyand special cousin, Marie Shirpley of Kingsport.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Fall Branch Chapel of Hamlett-Dobson. A memorial service will follow at 4 p.m. with Dr. Lester Morelock officiating. Special music will be provided by Linda Shipley.
