Mary Lane Showalter

Mary Lane Showalter of Kingsport, TN, beloved wife of Lt. Col. Charles E. Showalter, went to be with the Lord on November 27, 2014 after a long and healthy life. Mary was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her son, Rogan (Skip), her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Lane, sisters, Stella and Kathleen, and a younger brother.

Mary is survived by her two sons, Charles E. Showalter Jr. and Patrick Lee Showalter, her two grandsons, Jonathan L. Showalter and Dane Rogan Showalter, daughter-in-law, Ginamarie Showalter, cousins and dear friends, Sheila and Bill Moss of Kingsport, Sharon and Jeff Daniel and Stephen and Marie Gibson of Knoxville, TN and many others.

Visitation for Mary will be held on Sunday from 1-1:45 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The graveside service will follow at 2:00 pm at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
