Matthew Chase Donihe

Matthew Chase Donihe, 35, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord, Monday, January 20, 2020. Born in Kingsport, Matt was currently employed with Eastman Chemical Company as a Planner in the Instrument Shop. Matt was always smiling. He had the biggest heart and loved his family immensely. His greatest desire in life was to be a father. As blessed as everyone was to love and be loved by Matt, his son, Chase, was the most blessed. To know Matt was to know pure love.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James Howard and Monnie Ruth Babb, Sr.; and paternal grandparents, John Henry and Mabel Ruth Donihe.

Matt is survived by his wife, Heather Donihe, of the home; son, Chase Donihe, of the home; father, Larry Donihe of Kingsport; mother, Kathy Wilson and husband Dave of Kingsport; sister, Logan McClelland and husband Dave of Johnson City; niece, Ruby; nephews, Harvey and Gus; mother and father-in-law, David and Vickie Mays of Kingsport; and sister-in-law, Haley Price and husband Derek.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 3 p.m. on Sunday, January 26th, 2020, at Homeland Baptist Church with Bro. Terry Browder, Bro. Justin Quillen, Dr. Tiger Brooks, and Dr. Pat Findley officiating. A eulogy will be given by his wife, Heather.
