Maudie Ellen White

Maudie Ellen White, 83, Kingsport, TN, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2024. Born and raised in the area, she had spent all of her life here. She loved her family dearly. Maudie was an avid reader and would read anything she could get her fingers on. She was a beautiful, kind, sweet lady.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Howard White; and parents, George and Georgia McCloud.

Maudie is survived by several nieces and nephews that she loved dearly and they loved dearly.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, June 14, 2024, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Old Kingsport Cemetery with Rev. Charles Dewaine Mowdy, Jr.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made directly to the family or funeral home to help with Maudie’s funeral expenses.
