Maureen Olive Geurin

Maureen Olive Geurin, born July 19, 1936 in London, England and went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 9, 2015 in Kingsport, TN. She had previously lived in Murray, KY, and was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Maureen was a loving wife, mother and homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Stanley Adamthwaite and Nellie Elizabeth Adamthwaite, and sister, Beryl Davis, all of England.

Maureen is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Bill G. Geurin; two sons, Stephen G. Geurin and wife, Lyn of Morehead, KY, and Philip W. Geurin and wife, Bethany of Farmington, KY; daughter, Debra L. Smith and husband, Paul of Kingport; eight grandchildren, Ben Geurin, Stephanie Lester, Hilary Howard, Megan Smith, Carey Whitworth, Shannon Smith, Aidan Smith and Abbey Geurin; two great-grandchildren, Laura Ratliff and Caden Howard; brother-in-law, Roy Davis; nephew, Chris Davis; and niece, Sheron Payzer.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 3:00 pm at First Presbyterian Church, Kingsport, TN, with Rev. Sharon H. Amstutz officiating. The visitation will follow the memorial service.
