Maxine Graham Rutherford
Maxine "Mackie" Graham Rutherford, 82, of Etowah, TN, passed away Friday, June 25, 2010 at NHC Healthcare of Johnson City, TN.
She was a long time member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Etowah, where she sang in the choir. Mackie loved music and playing the piano and accordion. Mackie was a very caring and giving person who needed no recognition for what she did.
Her husband, John M. Rutherford and brother, John E. Graham preceded her in death.
Surviving are her daughter, Ann Marie Byars and husband Eugene of Kingsport; three grandchildren, Chris Torrence of Knoxville, Rachelle Keck Marion of Knoxville, and Brad Keck of Chattanooga; special sister-in-law, Arlene Graham of Columbia, SC; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held later in Etowah, TN.
