Melinda Louise Williams

Melinda Louise Williams, 49, of Bristol, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 2, 2012 at her home following a lengthy illness. She was born in Kingsport and had resided in the area most of her life. She was of the Baptist faith. Lulu was an avid reader. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Lee Williams Sr., and her parents, Willis and Janie Buckner.

Lulu is survived by her daughters, Jessica Williams and husband, Brian Jessee, and Elizabeth Morelock and fiancé, John Bellamy; son, Jerry Lee Williams Jr. and wife, Heather; six grandchildren, Mikey, Christain, Madison, Kayla, Brian, and Sabrina and fiancé, John Roberts; two sisters, Connie Price and husband, Jeff, and Robin Buckner; brother, Bobby Buckner and wife, Kelly; aunt and uncle, Sindy and Gary Murphy; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 7th at 11:00 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport, with Deacon Gary Murphy officiating.
