Mennis Lee Morelock

Lee Morelock, 83, of Kingsport, passed peacefully at Holston Manor on Thursday, November 17, 2022, after a long battle with Alzeimer’s disease and complications due to Covid. He will be greatly missed by his family which he loved very much. He especially loved spending time with his great-grandson Wyatt. He also enjoyed traveling and made numerous bus trips around the country with Faye. He retired from the Sullivan County Highway Department.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Okie Morelock; brother, Scott Morelock; nephew, Karl Light; and niece, Barbara Light.

Lee is survived by his wife, Faye Bernard Morelock; daughters, Becky Anderson (Cleve) of Kingsport, and Lynn Kuroski of Atlanta, GA; son, Allen Morelock (Angie) of Kingsport; grandchildren, Joseph Anderson, John Anderson, and Jennifer Kuroski; great-grandson, Wyatt Anderson; sister, Susie Light of Church Hill and Patsy Morelock of Kingsport; and nephew, Phil Light.

There will be a private family service.
