Michael David Frazier

Michael David Frazier, 51, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. Michael was the music minister at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church for over 10 years. He was a graduate of Tennessee Weslyan and loved music, theater and reading.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Rev. David Frazier and Laura "Tiny" Frazier; paternal grandparents, Ted and Gertrude Frazier; maternal grandparents, James and Susie Tincher, II; uncles, Col. Charles Tincher, Carl Tincher, Delmas Wagner and Pete Harris; and aunts, Linda Nichols, Margaret Frazier and Carolyn Larkins.

Michael is survived by two brothers, Terry L. Frazier and wife, Sondra; and Stephen T. Frazier and wife, Angela; three nieces, Makalia, Katelyn, and Kasey Frazier; nephew, Luke Frazier; aunts, Evelyn Wagner and Lucy Harris; uncles Jerry Nichols, James Larkins, and Wayne Tincher and wife, Carolyn; and a host of cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 17th at 6:00 pm at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Steve Counts officiating. The family will receive friends following the memorial service at 7:30 pm.
