Michelle (Morelock) Miller

Michelle (Morelock) Miller, 54, of Kingsport, died Monday May 19, 2014 at Indian Path Medical Center after a brief illness. Born in York, PA, she had resided in Kingsport most of her life. She was a 1977 graduate of Church Hill High School. Michelle was currently employed with the Sullivan County school system where she was a custodian at Central Heights Elementary School. She was a loving and devoted mother, nana, sister and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Verdia (Ruth) Miller, brother, Robert (Bob) Miller, and sister, Melody Miller.

Michelle is survived by son, Tyler James Morelock; grandson and apple of nana's eyes, Noah James Morelock; sister, Margaret Murray and husband, Scott of Kingsport; brothers, Lester (BoBo) Miller and wife, Cindy of Nicholasville, KY, Frank Miller and wife, Faye of Kingsport, James (Jim) Miller of Kingsport and Mark Miller of Kingsport; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and special lifelong friends, Kathy Hobbs and James "Chippy" Morelock.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-8:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. A memorial service will follow at 8:00 pm with Andrew Murray officiating.
