Mike Davis

Mike Davis, 62, Kingsport, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. He was a lifelong resident of Kingsport and was a graduate of Lynn View High school where he was the starting quarterback on the football team. Mike had retired from Tennessee Eastman. He loved all sports, especially football, baseball, NASCAR and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Kate Davis.

Mike is survived by his daughters, Kristi Peters and husband, Doug, and Emily Holley and husband, Brandon; grandchildren, Charlie Peters and Clara June Holley; sisters, Debbie Hartsock and Pam Cole and husband, Eddie; brother, Mark Davis and wife, Leanne; special friend, Richard Ratliff and his son, Josh; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 5-7:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Jack Morelock officiating.

The graveside service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am at Liberty Hill Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
