Mildred Gertrude (Ball) Christian

Mildred (Ball) Christian, 78, a lifelong resident of Kingsport, raised in Hawkins County, went to be with the Lord on December 14, 2019.  Mildred was a devoted wife to Paul E. Christian (deceased) and loving mother whose talent was a caregiver to children.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her mother, Bessie Arnold (Ball); her father Gilbert Ball; and her sister, Ruth Vermette.

She leaves behind three veteran sons, Tim Christian (Tina), Todd Christian, and Shane Christian (Rachel). Her greatest blessings are as follows: grandchildren, Mandy (Alan), Blake (Cindy), Angela, Michelle Yushan, Sport, Kaley (John), Janina, Michelle, Dustin, Elias, Ethan, and Emma; great-grandchildren, Aubri, Ramsey, Caroline, Eli and Bayleigh; nephews, Gary and Mike Vermette; niece, Debbie (Bud); strong regards to friends, Kathrine, Joe, Pat, and Judith; and special cousins, Twyla Starnes and Kim DeCroes.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 22, 2019, at the North Fork Baptist Cemetery, 3114 Goshen Valley Rd, Rogersville, TN 37857. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
