Shirley Davis, 73, Kingsport, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2011.
A lifelong resident of Kingsport, she was a homemaker and also worked at A&L, having retired after 14 years of service.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Juanita Johnson and her sister, Jean Horton.
She is survived by: her two daughters, Kathy Williams and husband Danny and Kristi Davis, both of Kingsport; two sons, Steve Davis of Church Hill and Jeff Davis of Kingsport; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Rob Johnson and wife Kathi, David Johnson and Tommy Johnson, all of Kingsport; sister, Linda McDavid and husband Eddie, of Kingsport; several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, August 27th, 2011 between 12-2:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. with J.W. Depew officiating. Burial will follow at Old Kingsport Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Pallbearers to be family and friends.
