Mildred Louise Lovelace, after 92 years of faithful service to her Lord and Savior, was called home on the morning of January 29, 2014. A native of Kingsport, she was the daughter of the late Joe Click and Sudie Peavler. She was a member of Riverside Central Baptist Church for 30 years. Mildred loved to sew, quilt, and spoil her grandbabies every chance she got.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Lovelace, and brother, Mack "Sam" Click.
Mildred is survived by 3 daughters, Juanita Crawford of the home, Elaine Ketron of Kingsport, and Rita Ryans and husband, D.V. of Greene County; 2 sons, Roy Lovelace and wife, JoAnn of Blountville, and Don Lovelace and wife, Raymonde of Greene County; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; special friend, Ella Wright; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and her beloved church family.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 5-7:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. The funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Benny Mauk and Pastor J.W. Depew officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday at 1:00 pm at Chimney Top Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
