Milton Mullenix

Milton Mullenix, 77, of Kingsport, TN, went peacefully to be with the Lord Thursday, January 8, 2009, at his home.

He was a graduate of Sullivan High School and retired from Pave-Well Paving Company after 50 years of service.

His wife, Betty Harr Mullenix, parents, Jack and Melva Mullenix, two brothers, Jug and T.J. Mullenix, sister and brother-in-law, Jackie Mullenix Fields and Paul; and grandson, Jordan Mullenix preceded him in death.

Surviving are his sons, Randall Mullenix and wife Janet, Kingsport, TN; Douglas Booker, Church Hill, TN; two grandsons, Jeremiah Mullenix, Kingsport, TN; and Chad Booker, Church Hill, TN; sister, Bobbie Mullenix Bishop and husband, Dave, Kingsport, TN; several nieces and nephews, special friend, Clarence "Bill" Shipley.

Calling hours are 5-7:00 p.m. Saturday at the Fall Branch Chapel of Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes.

Services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Teddy Webb and Honorary minister, Rev. Orville Dolen officiating.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Mullenix, Tommy Lucas, Alan Lawson, Ray Morrison, Johnny Petty, and David Conkin.

Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Sunday at East Lawn Memorial Park.
