Minnie M. Collins

Minnie M. Collins, 79, of Fall Branch, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, February 10, 2017, at Franklin Woods Hospital. Born in Hawkins County, she had resided in Fall Branch for most of her life. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith. Minnie will be remembered as a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Reece Collins; parents, and three brothers.

Minnie is survived by her three daughters, Glenda Sue Lane and husband Arthur "Ott", Faye Runion and husband Jim, and Jennifer Basinger; one son, Donnie Collins; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three sisters; one brother; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 15, 2017, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. The funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Vic Wallace and Rev. Shannon Lane officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2017, at Bacon-Kincheloe Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Steve Collins, Donnie Collins, Shannon Lane, Travis Lane, Jimmy Greer, Tim Lane, and Jim Runion.
