Molee Smith Fezzie, 90, Kingsport, went to be with the Lord Friday, October 3, 2008 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center following a brief illness.
She was born and raised in Coalfield, Tennessee, and was a resident of Kingsport for many years. Molee was a member of First Baptist Church, Kingsport, and previously employed at Nettie Lee Shop. She was active with the Senior Citizens Group where she participated in Senior Olympics for several years, was a member of Women of the Moose Lodge of Kingsport, and a member of the senior adult choir at First Baptist Church in Kingsport.
Her husband, Niles G. Smith, and her brothers and sisters preceded her in death.
Surviving are a daughter, Patty Holbert of Kingsport; two grandsons, Hunter Holbert and fiancée Susan Ward, Drew Holbert and wife Julie; one great-granddaughter, Mackenzie Holbert; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Mitchell M. Whisnant officiating.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
