Mollie Bragg, 89, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord Tuesday, June 10, 2008, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.

She was a lifelong resident of Kingsport, a farmer's wife, homemaker, and of the Methodist faith.

Preceding her in death were her husband, George Sam Bragg on October 8, 1983; her parents, Jim and Mattie Overbay; one sister, Emma Begley; and two brothers, Charlie Overbay and John Overbay.

Surviving are her daughters, Della Brandon of Kingsport, Marie Shaw and husband Stanley of Limestone, Kathy Malone and husband Joe of Kingsport; a precious daughter who was her caregiver, Reda Bragg of Kingsport; a son, Dusty Bragg of Memphis; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Ruth Busick of Kingsport; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Fall Branch.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Orville Dolen officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Glen Union Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be grandsons - Ricky Greer, Steve Collins, Michael Malone, David Malone, Jesse Bragg, and Rusty Collins.
