Mollie Frances Ball

Mollie Frances Ball, 85, of Kingsport, died on August 26, 2018.
She was a 1965 graduate of East Tennessee State University. She worked for the Mead Paper Company, retiring after 43 years of service. She volunteered for the Literacy Counsel of Kingsport and Good Will where she taught many children and adults how to read. She was a member of West View Baptist Church for over 30 years where she taught Sunday School.
Mollie was one of 12 children, with two surviving, Elsie Forbes and husband, Bill of Unicoi, TN and brother, Dennis Ball. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and special niece and caregiver, Donna Cavin.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Mike Stout officiating.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
