Mrs. Barbara Lowery

Mrs. Barbara Lowery, 69, of Kingsport, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Indian Path Medical Center. She was born December 1, 1943 in Washington D.C. Barbara was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church and was involved with the Red Hat Society. She was an avid painter and loved her dogs, Lulu and Yogi.

She is survived by her husband, Donald W. Lowery; daughter, Trish Morrison; three stepchildren, Kevin Lowery and wife, Donna, Renee Heard and husband, Alan, and Genena Williamson and husband, Joe; ten grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5-7:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Larry Caylor and Pastor Andrea Davis officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted on Monday at 1:00 p.m. at Church Hill Memory Gardens. Those wishing to go in procession should meet at the funeral home at 12:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Alan Heard, Logan Williamson, Chris Lowery, Kevin Lowery, Gary Geno and Cloyd Clips.
