Nageba Haney Windle (Nae) passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2016. Nae's greatest pleasure was to be surrounded by friends and family. She enjoyed life and shared that joy with all who knew her. She was a faithful member of First Broad Street United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, S.A. and Minnie Ann Haney of Kingsport; her husband of 66 years; John B. Windle, Jr. (Jake); six siblings; and son-in law Neil Danehy.
Nageba is survived by her son, Jack Windle (Linda), Lexington, SC; daughters, Lisa Windle, Knoxville, and Myra Danehy, Kingsport; grandchildren, Jay Wright ( Stephanie), Kingston, Jeff Wright (Melissa), Knoxville, Leslie Webb (Clark), Kingsport, Rebecca Danehy (Walt Clark, fiance), Kingsport, Emily Taggart (Mike), Sacramento, CA, and Julia Windle (Jason Littleton, fiance), Austin, TX.; great -grandchildren, Maggie Wright, Brooks Wright, Grayson Wright, Finley Wright, Avery Webb, Olivia Taggart, and Lila Taggart; sister in law, Helen Ruth (Tence) Agee; and brother in law, George T. McGuire.
A family graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday in Oak Hill Memorial Park.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at First Broad Street United Methodist Church with Rev. Jack P. Weikel and Rev. Joe Green officiating. The family will receive friends afterwards at the church.
