Nancy Louise Cox

Nancy Louise Cox, 79, passed away peacefully after a short illness at Johnson City Medical Center on Sunday, February 24, 2019. She was born in Kingsport, TN and resided there all her life. Nancy loved helping other people and loved her family. She was employed by Kingsport Electric for almost 40 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Franklin “Bud” Cox; and her brothers, Donald Lee, Bobby Jack, Allen and Ossie Jr. who died at birth.

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Lou Ann Haun and husband, Greg; granddaughter, Terra Jones and husband, KC; 4 great-granddaughters, Faith, Cadence, Haven and Elorah; and several nieces and nephews.

Per Nancy’s request there will be no services.

A very special thanks to Life Care Center in Gray, TN and to the nurses in the ER and 7^th floor at Johnson City Medical Center for their loving care of Nancy while she was there.
