Nancy Lynn Dingus, 43, of Kingsport, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2010. Nancy gave her heart to Jesus at an early age. She was a graduate of Sullivan North High School and attended Pilgrims Baptist Church and was a member of Homeland Baptist Church. She was a loving daughter, sister, and mother. She always had a smile.
She was preceded in death by her father, Rev. Bobby Dingus; her paternal grandparents, William Patrick and Grace Lawson Dingus; and her maternal grandparents, Charles Fred and Zonia Bruner Smith.
She is survived by her sons, Tyler and Patrick; her mother, Inez Dingus; brothers, Mark Dingus and wife, Missy, Roger Dingus and wife, Melissa, and Joel Dingus and wife, Kellie; aunts, Joyce Dingus, Marie Helton, Kay Smith Wallen; uncles, Michael Dingus, Harold Smith and wife, Trudy, and Gerald Smith; and nieces, Marleigh and Meribeth.
The family will receive friends at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport, on Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. Services will follow at 5 p.m., with Rev. J. W. Depew and Brother Eddie Smith officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted on Monday at 12:00 noon at Holston View Cemetery in Weber City, VA. Serving as pallbearers will be Mark Dingus, Roger Dingus, Joel Dingus, Chris Smith, Garland Dingus, and Harold Smith.
