Nancy Elizabeth Fitzpatrick

Nancy Elizabeth Fitzpatrick, 71, of Kingsport, TN passed unexpectedly in her home on Sunday, February 28, 2016. Nancy was an exceptional mother that loved, guided, and supported her sons throughout their entire lives. Her work ethic, triumph of cancer, and ability to care for her children and others was truly an inspiration. She was able to balance a career while being present as a mother of 3 active sons. She enjoyed serving and gave her time to various community projects, including the Kingsport Carousel and the Kingsport Symphony of the Mountains. These projects gave her an opportunity to give back to a city she loved and to stay connected with her friends and community. Being a grandmother was her true passion. Her grandchildren Solomon and Anna were the lights of her life. She always supported their endeavors with the same smile and loving demeanor that exemplified her life as a caring mother. Her presence will be missed by the countless souls that her loving and giving spirit touched throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her father Harry Wiesehahn and mother Thelma Wiesehahn.

Survivors include her sons Scott Fitzpatrick, Todd Fitzpatrick and wife Amy, and David Fitzpatrick and wife Karen. She had two loving grandchildren, Solomon and Anna Fitzpatrick.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5-7:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The memorial service will follow at 7:00 pm with Clint Andrews, minister, officiating.
