2 Timothy 4:6 - 7
For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.
Nancy Trent, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 4th. She had worked at several area restaurants over the years and attended Way of Life Baptist Church. Nancy was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Trent; parents, Robert and Dovie Parrott; son, Eugene Trent; brother, Bill Parrott; and sister, Edith Lawson.
Nancy is survived by her children, Tammy Ferguson and husband, James, Randy Trent, Ricky Trent, Wayne Trent and wife, Tammy, Mike Trent and wife, Kay, Sharon Larkins and husband, Eddie, Larry Trent and wife, Paula, Wilma Morgan, Wanda Sue Britt and husband, Lee, and Shirley Copas, all of Kingsport, and Brenda Copeland and husband, Tom of Evansville, IN; 30 grandchildren; special grandsons, Aaron and Adam Ferguson; 33 great-grandchildren; among the special great-grandchildren, Grayson, Peyton and Kinley; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 8th from 6-9:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, November 9th at 12:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport with Pastor Johnny Gibson officiating. Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Ferguson, Adam Ferguson, Dustin Trent, Steven Gauntt, Michael Gauntt, Brad Gilliam, Brian Trent, Derek Trent and Darin Trent.
