Nannie K. Cutshall, 94, died Monday, November 3, in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
Nan was born in Scott County, Virginia, on July 7, 1914, to John Wesley and Sarah Elizabeth Patrick. She moved to Kingsport as a young child and was a lifelong resident of Kingsport until moving to Fredericksurg in 2006.
She will always be remembered as a strong, loving, and caring woman.
Nan was preceded in death by her husband, Burch Cutshall; her grandson, John Morley, II; as well as her siblings, Effie Woods, Goldie Brooks, Carrie Blizzard, Emmett, Noah, and Clarence Patrick.
She is survived by her son, Johnny Morley and his wife Ruby of Frederickburg, VA; a stepson, Jimmy Cutshall and his wife Helen of Greenville; three grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Maxie Godsey of Kingsport; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Oak Hill Memorial Park with Dr. Ruth Ketron officiating. Pallbearers will be Milton Woods, Vernon Patrick, Gerald Blizzard, Jay Keith Cutshall, Justin Elliott and Jacob Elliott.
