Nell Epperson Dotson, 90, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 21, 2014 at Indian Path Medical Center. Nell was a member of Morrison City Freewill Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Dotson; her parents, J.L. and Rena Epperson; one twin sister, Sylvia Wright.
Nell Dotson is survived by three daughters, Pat Bass and husband, Larry of Kingsport, TN, Kathy Dishner and husband, James of Church Hill, TN and Debbie Sivert and husband, Alan of Mount Carmel; four grandchildren: Marti Copas and husband, Johnny, Alan Bass and wife, Shelby, Christy Gillenwater and husband, Jesse and April Wells and husband, Mike; ten great-grandchildren: Jennifer Manis, Jason Hammonds, Austin Bass, Kayla Miles, Seth Gillenwater, Tristin Gillenwater, Kaitlyn Miles, Kailynn Gillenwater, Jay Gillenwater, and Abbey Wells; 4 great-great-grandchildren: Braedyn, Brynnen, Braxton and Madison.
Pallbearers will be Alan Bass, Austin Bass, Jason Hammonds, Mike Wells, Jesse Gillenwater, Gordon Fields and Johnny Copas. Honorary pallbearers are Larry Bass, James Dishner and Alan Sivert.
The family will receive friends Sunday, November 23, 2014 from 5-7 p.m. at First Free Will Baptist Church of Morrison City. The funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Brian Capps and Brother Mike Sage officiating. Graveside services will be held Monday, November 24, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Morrison Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family would like to say a special thanks to the nurses in ICU at Indian Path Medical Center for all of the care given to our mother and the family.
