Nell Guthrie
Nell Guthrie, 87, of Kingsport, joined her husband on Friday, October 28, 2016, twenty days after he went to Heaven. Nell was born in Hiltons, Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; son, Danny; and daughter, Lesa Ann.
Nell is survived by her daughter, Teresa and husband Rev. Dewayne Chappell; grandchildren, Michele and husband Rev. Roddie Nelson, Charnell Addison, and Daniel Addison; great-grandchildren, Ezra, Tristen, Talia, and Tyler.
Nell was known as a kind, caring, and loving person. She enjoyed sharing her love for the Lord Jesus Christ with those who would listen. Nell was a member of Gardners Chapel Primitive Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be held at Mountain Home National Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, it would please the family if donations were made to Gardner's Chapel Cemetery.
