Nell Redwine Hess, 94, of Kingsport, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2011.
Nell was born in Clinchport, VA, where she resided most of her life. She moved to Kingsport in 1978. She was a member of Belvue Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nettie and Charles Redwine; husband, P.A. Hess; and sisters, Ruth Cooper, Blanche Reed, Fannie Kate Smith, Dorothy Ball, and Imogene Campbell.
Survivors include her sister Mable Rogers of Clinchport, VA and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 10-11 am Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The service will begin at 11 am with Dr. John Owston officiating. Graveside services will follow at Holston View Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nell's nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Belvue Christina Church, 2700 E Center St., Kingsport, TN 37662.
