Nell Dillow Shipley, 94, Oak Glen Community, passed away peacefully at home Wednesday, March 7, 2007, where she went to be with her Lord and Savior and her loved ones in her heavenly home.
She was the most loving and caring person who loved everyone she ever met.
Preceding her in death were two husbands, Bill Dillow and Laney Shipley; one daughter, Mary Dillow Ashworth; her parents, Ranze and Nina Morrison; and two brothers, Carmon L. Morrison and Glenn Morrison.
Surviving are a very special great-grandson, Charlie Haynes, Church Hill; two sons, Wayne Morrison and wife, Wanda of Oak Glen Community, Billy Dillow of Kingsport; one step-daughter, Reba Horton, Kingsport; three nieces, Linda Barron of Chuckey, Sherry Bell of Oak Glen Community, Sheila Ladd, Kingsport; one sister-in-law, Nelle Morrison of Shelbyville; and numerous other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Fall Branch. Services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Jerry Hall and Rev. Gaither Townsend officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Fall Branch United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ray Hunt, Chris Barron, Doug Barron, David Haynes, Travis Bell, and James Lyons.
