Nema Crawford

Nema Crawford, 36, Beech Creek Community, died Thursday morning in the hands of a just and living God.

Nema was born in Kingsport and had lived in Beech Creek for most of her life. She was a nurse?s aide having worked at Church Hill Health Care until her retirement.

She attended House of Prayer.

Her sister, Cinda Louise Light, paternal grandfather and grandmother, Glen and Halie Light, and maternal grandfather Frank Wallen preceded her in death.

Surviving are her husband Jim Crawford; daughter, Christina Crawford; and son, Clayton Crawford, all of the home; parents, Toney V. and Frankie Light, Rogersville, TN; maternal grandmother, Thelma Wallen, Rogersville, TN; brother, Tony J. Light and wife Melinda, Rogersville, TN; niece, Selena Light, Rogersville, TN; father and mother-in-law, Virgis Crawford and Felbia Crawford.

Calling hours are 6-8:00 p.m. Saturday at the Fall Branch Chapel of Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home.

Services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Saturday at the Fall Branch Chapel of Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home with Rev. Orville Dolen and Rev. G.W. Jobe officiating.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Light Cemetery. Family and friends may gather at the cemetery by 1:45 p.m.

Pallbearers are Paul Ward, Dewayne Head, Clint Penley, Douglas Head, Dallas Head, Rick Christian, Bobby Wallen, and James McClure.
