Nina Kate Moore, 76, of Blackley Creek Road, Limestone, went to be with the Lord Monday, January 5, 2009, at Laughlin Memorial in Greeneville following an extended illness.
Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Anna Hazelwood; two sisters, Faye Evans and Margarie Mills; and a grandson, Bryan Allen Dickerson.
Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Bennie Moore; daughter, Jill Dickerson and husband Donnie; son, Billy Moore and wife Becky; two granddaughters, Amy Helbert and Tricia Dickerson; a step-granddaughter, Erin Webb; two grandsons, Ryan and Shawn Moore; two great-grandchildren, Mikalea Dickerson and Austin Willett; three sisters, Mary Anne Finkle of Afton, Stella Hixson of Mosheim, Brenda Tweed of Greeneville; two brothers, Bobby Hazelwood of Indiana, Larry Hazelwood of Johnson City; several nieces and nephews including special nieces, Nellie and Heather; and a special great-niece, Stephanie.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Fall Branch.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Milburnton United Methodist Church with Rev. Byrl Fann and Vivian Franklin officiating. Burial will follow at Milburntown United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ricky Finkle, Max Finkle, Steve Swift, Clark Hixson Jr., Gerald Jones, and James Keys. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Hayes, Dr. Mark Patterson, Dr. Charles Montgomery, Dr. AK Sen and their staff, and Dr. Mandeep Bakshi.
