Nina Bruner Trivette of Kingsport passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2011.
She was born in Speers Ferry, VA, and worked as a Front End Manager at Food City, Colonial Heights since February, 2010. She treasured the friendships of the Food City Family. She was a member of Homeland Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther "Smokey" Bruner and Opal Price Bruner; and a sister, Janice Bruner Counts.
She is survived by her daughter, Meagan Powers Allen & husband, Phillip, of Knoxville; expected granddaughter, Ariel Joanna Allen; brother, Wayne Bruner, Fall Branch; nephew, Scott Bruner, Morganton, NC; nieces, Katie Counts and Abby, Knoxville; uncles and aunts: Denver Chude and Sue Price, Gate City, Houston and Stacy Price, Arab, AL; special friend, Allen Curtis; and many special family and friends who have helped her in her care.
The family will receive friends at Homeland Baptist Church on Tuesday October 25, 2011, from 5-7p.m. The funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor J.W. Depew officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted 12noon Wednesday at Fall Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Bruner, Scott White, Wesley Light, Ronnie Hall, Patrick Brickey and Bill Honeycutt.
