Norma June Barton

Norma June Barton, 87, of Kingsport, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025 at The Village at Allandale, surrounded by her family. Norma was saved at the age of 8 and followed the Lord faithfully throughout her life. She loved her family with all her heart and devoted her life to caring for them.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Teresa McAmis; husband, Charles W. Barton; brothers, Paul Brown and F.M. Brown; and sisters, Colleen Hicks and Emma Wright.

Norma is survived by her children, Donna Fleming (Joe), Pamela McAmis Butcher (Steve), Kimberly Barton Bennison (Paul), and Melissa “Missy” Barton Yeagle (Jonathan); and her beloved grandchildren, Jodee Fleming, Matthew, Andrew and Ryan Bennison, and Madison and Bailey Yeagle.

The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 pm on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Pastor Rick Meade officiating. The graveside service will follow at 3:00 pm at Oak Hill Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Paul, Matthew, Andrew and Ryan Bennison, Joe Fleming, and Jonathan Yeagle. Honorary pallbearer is Steve Butcher.
