Norma Curtistine Hamilton Merrill, 95, died Saturday, October 10, 2015 at her home.
A native of Penrose, NC, she was the daughter of the late Ansel Lowry Hamilton and Sallie Jane Pickelsimer. She has been a resident of Kingsport since 1949. She was a strong Christian, and was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Kingsport since 1951. She provided for her family as a hairdresser for 46 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Melvin Evans Hamilton and Thomas Lowry Hamilton.
Norma is survived by two daughters, Martha Merrill of Knoxville, TN, and Kathy Panaranto and her husband Randy of Surgoinsville, TN; a grandson, Denni Feagins and his wife Melissa of Kingsport, TN; and four great-grandchildren, Tamara, Ian, Isaac, and Tyler.
Services were held on Tuesday, October 13, 2015. Burial was at Little River Cemetery.
