Ola M. Crawford

Ola M. Crawford, 82, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 27, 2009, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. She was a lifelong resident of Kingsport, member of Walker's Fork Baptist Church, and Eastern Star Liberty Chapter #198.

Preceding her in death were her husband, James D. Crawford; parents, Rev. Hughie and Margie Morelock; two brothers, Melvin B. Morelock and Willie Morelock; one sister, Lucille Morelock; and two nephews, Randall Morelock and Terry Morelock.

Surviving are one son, Robert E. Crawford and wife, Carol, of Munford; two grandchildren, Chelsea Jane Crawford and Jake Crawford; one sister, Dot Blankenbeckler, Kingsport; three brothers, Rev. B. Glenn Morelock and wife, Dorothy, of Kingsport, Clyde B. Morelock and wife, Lora, of Kingsport, and Steve Morelock of Mount Carmel; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at Mount Carmel Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jack Morelock officiating.
