Olivene Murray Chase

Olivine M. Chase, 88, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 24, 2007 at Wexford House.

Born in Iowa, she had resided in Kingsport since early childhood. Mrs. Chase was a member of Eastern Star Freewill Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her husband, William P. Chase; son, Jackie L. Chase; and four sisters, Ruth, Blanche, Callie, and Mattie.

She is survived by a granddaughter, Lisa Cole and husband, Bobby; grandson, Tim Chase and wife, Teresa, all of Kingsport; four great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Emma Roll of Denver, Colorado; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.

Services will follow at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with Rev. George Winegar officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Eastern Star Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the graveside service at Mrs. Chase? home from 2-4pm.
