Ora Lee Rutledge, 80, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord Friday, April 13, 2007.
She was a member of St. Matthew United Methodist Church. Ora dearly loved life and her family and had a wonderful sense of humor.
Preceding her in death were one son, Darrell Paul Rutledge; a grandson, Lloyd Joseph Chapman III; brothers, Roy Crawford, Ralph Crawford, Fred Crawford; a stepsister, Janet Starnes; and her parents, William and Ida Crawford.
Surviving are her husband of 61 years, Paul R. Rutledge, Kingsport; a daughter, Linda DeSpain and husband, Garry, of Kingsport; a son, Dennis Rutledge and fiancée, Karen Noe, Kingsport; three grandchildren, Alicia Greer, Dennis Alan Rutledge, Jr., and Lance William Rutledge; three great-grandsons, Ryan, Austin, and Avery Chapman; all of Kingsport; one brother-in-law, Donald Wayne Rutledge and wife, Sherry, Kingsport; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Lewis Weaver officiating.
Entombment services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday at East Lawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Rick Jackson, Steve Jeffers, Jeff Salling, Jim Duncan, and Butch Applegate.
