Ottie ?Keith? McGuire, 76, Kingsport, went to be with the Lord Saturday August 18, 2007 at his home.
He was preceded in death by his parents; seven brothers; and four sisters.
Surviving are two daughters, Linda Cox and husband, Densil, Kingsport, and Laura McGuire, Kingsport; two sons, Ottie McGuire II and wife, Diane, Kingsport, and Myron McGuire and wife, Janet, Jonesborough; six grandchildren, Dwayne Cox, Matt McGuire and wife, Whitney, Miranda Pitts and husband, Johnny, Christina McGuire, Bryan McGuire, and Kimberly McGuire; one great-granddaughter, Charity Pitts; two sisters; one brother; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Fall Branch. Services will be at 8:00 p.m. with Pastor Rick Roop and Rev. Orville Dolen officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Double Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Memorial contributions may be given to Double Springs Baptist Church, 2783 Rock Springs Road, Kingsport, TN 37664.
